  86.  The APT Mailing Assistant for OS/2 is a shareware program that provides
  87.  you the capability of printing professional looking envelopes and
  88.  labels on your HP compatible laser, Deskjet, or Epson compatible dot
  89.  matrix printer that include U.S. Postal Service approved delivery point
  90.  POSTNET bar codes to insure speedy and accurate delivery. You can use
  91.  the program to print envelopes or labels one at a time as you need them
  92.  or to print many envelopes or labels in succession when performing a
  93.  bulk mailing for your business or organization. The program's bulk
  94.  mailing facility provides the capability to print your permit box on
  95.  envelopes created with a laser printer, thus saving you the cost of
  96.  pre-printing these envelopes. Delivery point bar codes can save postage
  97.  for bulk mailing and presorted first class. Zip code statistics can be
  98.  obtained to make bundling of envelopes fast and easy. You can also
  99.  print personalized return envelopes to include in your mailing. The
  100.  program supports several types of labels for bulk mailing of folders,
  101.  etc.

  104.  long as all files (including this README.DOC file) are distributed
  105.  together. Note, however, that this program is "Shareware" NOT

  173. If the APT Mailing Assistant files are already on your hard disk, you
  174. may use the program simply by including the subdirectory that contains
  175. these files in the PATH=,LIBPATH=, and HELP= statements of your
  176. CONFIG.SYS file. If the files are contained on diskette, or you want to
  177. move them to another drive or directory, you may enter the following:
  178.    d:\path\INSTALL
  179.    where
  180.      d = the drive containing APT Mailing Assistant and INSTALL.EXE
  181.      path = the directory containing the APT Mailing Assistant
  182.  
  183. The installation program will prompt you for the drive and directory
  184. where you want the APT Mailing Assistant. If you do not have the current
  185. drive and directory specified in your HELP path (i.e. "HELP=.;") help
  186. will not be available for the installation program.

  189. List Box Limitation
  190. -------------------
  191. In OS/2 versions 2.0 and 2.1, there was a limit as to how much
  192. information could be shown in a list box. Because of this, if you list a
  193. very large address file to the diaplay, using the "List Address File"
  194. option of the "File" pull down menu, the last part of the file may not
  195. be displayed. The complete file may still be listed to the system
  196. printer. If you are using version 3.0 (WARP) or later, this problem will
  197. not occur and the complete file will be displayed.
